Zuraikat Goes One for Two
Adrian Mateos raised to 700 from middle position and Ramzi Zuraikat called from the cutoff. Mateos then made a continuation-bet of 500 on the K♠J♥K♣ flop before Zuraikat put in a raise to 2,200. Mateos made the call and the 7♣ turn hit the felt.
Mateos checked to the raiser, who increased his sizing to 5,100 chips. Mateos still stuck around with a call before he checked the J♦ river as well. Zuraikat checked behind quickly and Mateos showed his K♥9♥ for a full house.
"I knew you had that!", exclaimed Zuraikat, who showed his J♣ for a lesser full house.
The very next hand, Zuraikat open-raised from the hijack and Simon Wilson put in a three-bet to 2,400 from the cutoff. Wilson then made the minimum bet of 300 on the 10♠J♥10♦ flop and Zuraikat called.
The 3♦ turn checked through before Zuraikat made a bet of 2,200 on the 3♥ river. Wilson looked him up but mucked his cards once he saw the K♠K♣ of Zuraikat, who won the pot with his kings.
