Kurtes Shows a King in Five-Way Pot
Niveau 2
: Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
Five players went to a flop of 7♠9♠K♣ where action checked to Marko Kurtes on the button, who bet 2,000. Maduka Meragal called in the big blind, as did Motokatsu Uhara under the gun while Shawn Stroke and Jacopo Achille both folded.
The turn came the 2♥ and Kurtes bet another 5,500. Only Uhara called this time. The river was the J♠ and both players checked, Uhara showing 10♥10♦ but Kurtes had K♦Q♥ to win the pot with a pair of kings.
