Tomescu checked again on the Q♣ turn, prompting a 2,200 bet from Mateos. Both Paniak and Tomescu called.
The 3♠ completed the board and Tomescu checked a third time. Mateos sized up for a 9,200 bet, which got a fold from Paniak, but a check-raise to 35,000 from Tomescu.
Mateos went deep into the tank, re-checking his hole cards a couple of times before flinging them into the muck.
