Barbero Wins But Rues Missing Chips
Nacho Barbero and Fahredin Mustafov built a pot of around 40,000 heading to the turn on a board of 5♠8♦9♣A♥ when Mustafov bet 14,000 from the cutoff.
Barbero called under the gun, then checked over to Mustafov on the A♦ river. Mustafov quickly checked back.
Barbero began motioning for the dealer to push him the pot even before showing his cards. "Quads good," he said, eventually turning over A♠A♣.
"Every time with this hand," Mustafov said as he tossed K♠K♣ into the muck.
"What a bad runout. I didn't double. Aces versus kings and I didn't double," Barbero lamented.
