Reard Picks Up Kings to Double
Niveau 10
: Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Heads-up on a board of 8♠3♥5♠10♣, Hyun Sup Kim bet 11,000 from the cutoff before Alexandre Reard moved all in for 49,500 in the hijack.
Kim agonized over the decision for a minute before calling, turning over Q♦10♦ for top pair. Reard showed K♠K♦ and was poised for a double up heading to the 3♠ river, which secured him the pot.
Keneshka Kabir, who began the day as one of the top stacks in the tournament, is also at this table and has steadily increased his stack over the first two levels to around 500,000.
