Niste Chips Up Through Gessis
Niveau 13
: Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Mihai Niste raised from under the gun and picked up two callers including Jean Gessis in the big blind. On the 10♣3♦2♣ flop, all three players checked and Gessis led the 9♦ turn for 16,000. Niste raised to 52,000 and Gessis was the only caller to then check the 5♠ river.
Niste made it 155,000 to go for more than the size of the pot, forcing a reluctant fold from Gessis.
