Hallay Calls Down Sammartino in Massive Pot

Axel Hallay opened to 50,000 in the hijack and Vito Vella called on the button. Dario Sammartino then three-bet to 225,000 in the small blind and both opponents called.
The flop came A♦9♥4♣ and Sammartino led out for 180,000. Hallay called, while Vella got out of the way.
Sammartino bet another 400,000 on the 10♦ turn and Hallay again called. The river was the 3♠.
Sammartino then moved all in for 855,000. Hallay ripped off his sunglasses as he went deep into the tank.
"Something is telling me to call," he said as he took around five minutes. Hallay eventually called and turned over A♥Q♣.
Sammartino, though, had A♣K♥ and Hallay was once again left shaking his head as the massive pot was pushed to Sammartino.
