Sammartino then made the first postflop bet, of 190,000. Tabacaru called and Volkov mucked his hand. On the 5♣ river, Sammartino sized up to 775,000.
This sent Tabacaru in a deep tank that lasted several minutes. Eventually, he folded his A♥K♠ face-up and Sammartino nodded in understanding while raking in the chips.
