Seelentag Lends a Hand to Adamszki's Resurgence

Niveau 11 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

The action was picked up on the J743 turn, with around 40,000 chips in the middle. Felix Seelentag checked from the big blind to Tamas Adamszki in the big blind, who added an additional 33,000 to the pot. Seelentag matched the bet and the pair went off to the 4 river.

Seelentag checked once more and Adamszki sized up a bit to 45,000. Seelentag took a couple of minutes to think things over, but ultimately, he made the call.

Admaszki showed QJ for two pair, jacks and fours, and Seelentag flung his cards across the table, accidentally hitting Stephen Chidwick's hand and exposing the 7 in doing so.

Armin Rezaei ended his massage prematurely and headed to the rail while what appeared to be A9 went into the muck. That had turned top pair but was no good on a board of KJ2AJ because Michael Sklenicka got there with the J10.

Pora Moves In One Street Later Than He Wanted

Niveau 11 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Dumitru Pora
Dumitru Pora

A pot of around 150,000 was already in the middle as Kuljinder Sidhu and start-of-day chip leader Dumitru Pora went to the turn on a board of 9K5A. Pora attempted to move all in and put in some chips, but the dealer didn't hear him and ruled Pora could only bet 135,000.

The floor was called over and Pora's bet stood. Sidhu called on the button as the 7 came on the river. Pora, still unhappy with the decision, then threw in his last 190,000 and stood up from the table.

Sidhu tanked for a minute as Pora calmed down and sat back in his seat. Sidhu eventually folded and Pora returned his cards to the dealer for the big pot.

"I said all in," he still insisted.

Lars Kamphues
Lars Kamphues

Weiran Pu started it all off with a raise to 6,000 from under the gun. Martin Wolf then three-bet to 15,000 from middle position before Lars Kamphues started deliberating in the small blind. Eventually, he came out with a reraise to 35,000, and only Wolf made the call.

On the 37K flop, Kamphues inquired about Wolf's stack before putting in a bet of 20,000 chips. This was enough to let Wolf muck his cards, leaving him with 20 big blinds.

Ren Lin

Michael Sklenicka raised to 7,000 in early position. "My friend, perfect spot to double up," Ren Lin told him as he moved all in for 30,000 on the button. Sklenicka called once action folded back to him.

Ren Lin: AQ
Michael Sklenicka: Q9

"Ten of diamonds is all I need," Sklenicka said, but he found much more than that as the dealer turned over 997, giving him trip nines. Lin put his head down on the table as the 8 fell on the turn.

"Too much gamble," Lin said going to the K river. "See you at the final table," he said to Santhosh Suvarna at another table as he went off to reenter.

Munteanu Triples on the River, Keating Takes Massive Side Pot Off Kluzak

Niveau 11 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Alex Keating
Alex Keating

What turned out to be one of the largest pots of the day began when Bogdan Munteanu bet 10,000 under the gun on a flop of 104J.

Alex Keating called in early position before Josef Kluzak raised to 35,000 in the cutoff. Munteanu then moved all in for 55,000.

Keating asked the floor to come over and confirmed that Kluzak couldn't raise if he called before he put in the chips. Kluzak also called and the 8 fell on the turn.

Keating then bet 80,000 and Kluzak moved all in for 230,000. Keating snap-called and turned over Q9 for the turned straight.

Kluzak had 98 for a pair to go with straight and flush draws, while Munteanu showed 1010 for a set. Keating was poised to scoop the entire pot and move up past 1,000,000 until the river brought the 8.

"Yes," Munteanu said as he unleashed a big fist pump after making a full house. He tripled up, while Keating won the massive side pot to bust Kluzak.
