Alex Keating
Alex Keating

Arriving on a turn on 8A6K, Alex Keating shoved in his stack of 350,000 from the hijack, in a pot that had already grown to a massive size of 125,000.

Dorian Melchers was his opponent and sat in the cutoff. Melchers played around 300,000 himself and was deep in the tank regarding this decision. Eventually, he pushed in all of his chips, and the two hands were revealed.

Dorian Melchers: A5
Alex Keating: 88

Keating's set was up against the flush draw of Melchers. The river was red, but the 7 was not the suit Melchers was looking for. He was eliminated from the Main Event in an enormous clash that saw Keating chip up to three times the average stack.

Pitic Gets Thin Value in Three-Bet Pot

Niveau 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Mario Lampropulos raised to 6,000 from middle position and Gerd Singer came along from the big blind. Radu Pitic then made it 27,000 to go from the big blind and both of his opponents called.

The K27 flop was checked by all three players before Pitic tossed in a single T-25,000 chip on the K turn. Lampropulos got out of the way but Singer stuck around with a call.

On the 5 river, Pitic sized up to 55,000 chips, and another quick call followed from Singer. Pitic tabled 1010 for two pair with the kings on the board, and Singer nodded his head before he mucked his cards, shipping the pot Pitic's way.
