Miscikowski Goes For a Massive Shove, Bogdanov Calls Him Down

Niveau 12 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Yuliyan Bogdanov
Yuliyan Bogdanov

David Miscikowski raised to 10,000 under the gun and was called by Athanasios Kidas in the cutoff before Yulian Bogdanov three-bet to 38,000 on the button. Miscikowski called, while Kidas got out of the way.

The flop came 5A8 and Bogdanov continued for 20,000. Miscikowski then raised to 60,000 and Bogdanov called.

Miscikowski bet another 80,000 on the 9 turn. Bogdanov quickly called and the 6 fell on the river.

Miscikowski then bet 260,000, leaving himself one 500 chip behind. Bogdanov spent several minutes in the tank leaning over the table before sliding in a call.

Miscikowski immediately mucked his cards and Bogdanov took the nearly 900,000-chip pot without a showdown to move into contention for the chip lead.

Troyanovskiy Ousted Again

Niveau 12 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Vladimir Troyanovskiy had gone all in preflop for 51,000 from middle position. Petr Vodak was the only caller, in the small blind, and he was putting Troyanovskiy at risk.

Vladimir Troyanovskiy: QJ
Petr Vodak: A10

Vodak immediately hit an ace on the A67 flop. The Q turn gave Troyanovskiy some hope, but the A upgraded Vodak to trips to secure the elimination of Troyanovskiy, who exited for the second time today.

Bohdanov Shoves on Berisha

Niveau 12 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Renat Bohdanov and Xhavit Berisha were looking at a flop of 49K, with 63,000 chips in the middle, when Bohdanov checked to Berisha from the cutoff, and the latter put out a bet of 18,500. Bohdanov made the call before the 7 turn went check-check.

The 7 river then came in and Bohdanov pushed all in, covering the 125,000 chips Berisha had behind. Berisha thought it over for several minutes, until the clock was eventually called. Berisha reached the end of his countdown and thus the hand was declared dead, awarding the pot to Bohdanov.

Sammartino Bombs the River on Keating

Niveau 12 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Dario Sammartino
Dario Sammartino

A pot of more than 200,000 was already in the middle as Alex Keating and Dario Sammartino went to the turn on a board of K944.

Keating, in the small blind, then bet 90,000. Sammartino tanked for a minute before calling as the 10 fell on the river.

Keating then slowed down and checked, and Sammartino took another moment before assembling two towers of chips and using both hands to push them in the middle, a bet totaling 285,000.

Keating shot a look up at the ceiling but didn't take too long before he slid his cards into the muck.

Fuch's Downfall Begins

Niveau 12 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Alexander Norden and Kamal Bejjani were heads up on a board of 57104. Bejjani made a bet of 31,000 from the big blind and Fuchs called from middle position.

The Q river then completed the board and Bejjani put Fuchs all-in for his stack of 105,000 chips. Fuchs thought it over long and hard, but ended up mucking his cards.

Not much later, however, Fuchs would be eliminated from the Main Event in another hand.

Mustafov Predicts a Bad Beat

Niveau 12 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Fahredin Mustafov

Ramzi Zuraikat opened to 8,000 from under the gun before Fahredin Mustafov made it 35,000 from the next seat over. Benjamin Woywode jammed for 147,000, which Zuraikat called. Mustafov jammed for 8,500 more and Zurakait put in the extra chips.

Benjamin Woywode: JJ
Fahredin Mustafov: KK
Ramzi Zuraikat: 1010

As the cards went on their back, Zuraikat called for a ten.

"In this place, it can happen," said Mustafov.

Zurakait then called for spades after the 633 flop, but he found the 10 on the turn instead to make a full house. Mustafov was sickened, and he paid up his masseuse bill after the 5 river.

Akin Tuna raised to 8,000 under the gun before Theodore McQuilkin three-bet to 24,000 in the hijack. Alexander Dovzhenko then four-bet to 65,000 in the cutoff, Tuna folded, while McQuilkin moved all in for 155,000. Dovzhenko snap-called.

The Q fell right in the window to get McQuilkin a set, and the rest of the board ran out 6328 to earn McQuilkin an unlikely double up.

Ensan Eliminated by Pudel

Niveau 12 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Hossein Ensan
Hossein Ensan

Hossein Ensan had re-entered after he was eliminated earlier today but never got much going. He eventually three-bet jammed for 73,000 over a raise by Nils Pudel and a call. Only Pudel came along to set up the following showdown.

Hossein Ensan: KJ
Nils Pudel: A9

The Q6488 board missed both players and ace-high was good enough for Pudel to knock out Ensan.
