Pudel Takes From Sammartino

Dario Sammartino opened his A♥K♦ from under the gun and called when Nils Pudel called on his left with 8♥8♣. Eric Tsai folded his A♠5♥ in the big blind.

Pudel's pair was best on the 9♥5♠5♣ flop, and action checked through to the 7♦ turn. Pudels called a bet of 160,000, which brought in the 2♣ river, giving him the best hand.

Sammartino checked and Pudel bet 775,000. The Italian made the ace-high call for the chips to go to Pudel.

Bogdanov Getting Active

Andrea Radicchi raised to 200,000 in middle position before Yulian Bogdanov three-bet to 600,000 in the cutoff. Action folded back to Radicchi and he quickly mucked.

Radicchi then raised to 200,000 and Bogdanov just called this time from the hijack. Alf Martinsson also came along from the big blind to see the 2♣2♦4♠ flop. Martinsson and Radicchi checked to Bogdanov, who won the pot with a bet of 190,000.

A few hands earlier, Max Neugebauer had raised to 205,000 under the gun before Michele Tocci moved all in for 1,540,000. Bogdanov reshoved in the small blind and Neugebauer got out of the way.

Tocci had A♠K♣ while Bogdanov also showed A♣K♠ as the board ran out safe to chop the pot.

Martinsson Takes Two on the River

Alf Martinsson raised to 220,000 under the gun and Michael Rocco called in the hijack.

Both players checked the K♠6♦8♠ flop before Martinsson bet 400,000 on the 7♦ turn.

Rocco called and the A♣ fell on the river. Martinsson then bet 550,000 and Rocco quickly mucked.

Lachezar Petkov then raised to 210,000 in the cutoff and Martinsson defended his big blind.

The flop came J♣10♣10♦ and Petkov continued for 135,000. Martinsson called as the 9♥ turn was checked through.

Martinsson led out for 1,000,000 on the 2♦ river and Petkov, like Rocco, quickly gave up his hand.

Tsai Leads on the River

Volkov took the lead on the A♣2♦J♣ flop as he had aces and deuces. He fired out another 300,000 and only Tsai called.

The J♥ turn counterfeited Volkov and action checked through. Tsai had the check mark on the 3♥ river. Tsai bet 1,200,000 and Volkov conceded the pot.

Pudel and Vella Hit the Flop

Nils Pudel opened from the cutoff with 6♠6♣ from the cutoff, and Vito Vella called in the big blind with A♠Q♥.

Both players connected on the Q♦J♦6♦ flop, which gave Vella top pair, but Pudel was miles ahead with a set. Vella check-called for 100,000.

The 2♣ turn was a brick, and Vella check-called for 550,000 with his useless pair of queens.

The 8♥ completed the board and saw Vella check for a third time. Pudel bet big and sized up to 1,200,000. Vella put in the call and the four million chip pot went to Pudel
