Yulian Bogdanov opened to 160,000 from the hijack before Eusebiu Jalba raised to 600,000 from the button, which left him with 565,000 behind. Bogdanov moved all in and Jalba called for his tournament life.
Eusebiu Jalba: A♥J♣
Yulian Bogdanov: A♠Q♣
Jalba was dominated and failed to improve on the K♠8♣3♠9♠6♥ runout. His elimination marks the formation of the final two tables.
Kasparas Klezys opened to 160,000 from early position and was called Giuseppe Mazza-Boussemart and Eric Tsai from the cutoff and and small blind. Dario Sammartino defended his big blind.
On the 9♥7♣6♣ flop, Sammartino was ahead with his 9♣4♣ and led out for 180,000. Klezys and Mazza-Boussemart folded K♥J♦ and A♦4♦ respectively. Tsai called with his Q♥10♥.
The 6♥ turn kept Sammartino ahead while Tsai picked up a flush draw to go along with his gutshot straight draw. Tsai check-called for 325,000.
The Q♦ completed the board and gave Tsai a pair of queens for the checkmark. Tsai checked once more and Sammartino did the same for the former to scoop the pot.
In a limped pot to the 6♦2♦4♠ flop, Dario Sammartino check-called for 100,000 with Q♦J♦ from the small blind. Nils Pudel was ahead in the big blind with his 9♥6♥.
The A♥ turn kept things the same and saw action check through to the 7♦ river, giving Sammartino a flush for the best hand. He led out for 375,000 and Pudel made the correct laydown.
Nils Pudel opened from the cutoff with 6♠6♣ from the cutoff, and Vito Vella called in the big blind with A♠Q♥.
Both players connected on the Q♦J♦6♦ flop, which gave Vella top pair, but Pudel was miles ahead with a set. Vella check-called for 100,000.
The 2♣ turn was a brick, and Vella check-called for 550,000 with his useless pair of queens.
The 8♥ completed the board and saw Vella check for a third time. Pudel bet big and sized up to 1,200,000. Vella put in the call and the four million chip pot went to Pudel
