Heder Dodges His Way to Massive Pot
Niveau 12
: Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Mick Heder, Aaron Duczak, and Andreas Tomazou went to the 9♥8♣3♦ where Tomazou got in his last 45,000 from middle position, Heder shoved for 118,000 in the hijack, and Duczak had them both covered and at risk on the button.
Andreas Tomazou: A♦9♣6♥5♠
Mick Heder: A♥8♦8♥7♣
Aaron Duczak: Q♠J♦10♠7♦
Heder had flopped a set but needed to hold on against Duczak's straight draw. The 4♥3♥ runout not only kept him in the lead, but he improved to the nut flush as he earned a massive double up through Duczak, while Tomazou was eliminated.
