Goossens Doubles Through Izotov

Christian Zetzsche

Niveau 18 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Pavel Izotov reraised to 70,000 preflop and Guy Goossens called to see a flop of A♥Q♠4♥.

Goossens double-checked his cards and then jammed for the last 44,000, as he shrugged and joked "you win".

Izotov didn't snap-call but came along eventually.

Guy Goossens: Q♥10♣9♠8♣
Pavel Izotov: A♦K♣K♠3♥

The J♥ turn and 9♥ river runout gave Goossens a straight and he doubled.
