Predaroli Flops a Set to Double

Dennis Magro opened to 500,000 in early position before Alessandro Predaroli moved all in for 2,150,000 in the small blind. Julien Loire, in the big blind, then reshoved and Magro folded.

The flop came 5♥2♥J♥ and Predaroli spiked top set to leave Loire drawing only to running cards. The 10♣ turn gave Loire a straight draw, but the 4♥ river was safe for Predaroli as the Italian doubled up.

"Ace-queen, one heart. I call him," Magro replied.

Saka Gets Some Back Off Berisha

Saka made two pair on the 7♥4♥3♥ flop and check-called for 300,000. The 6♦ turn then checked through to the 10♣ river. Saka led out for 600,000 and Baerisha quickly folded.

Saka & Berisha Hit the Flop

Xhavit Berisha opened to 500,000 with A♦Q♣. Alain Saka defended his 6♥5♣ from the big blind.

Both players made a pair on the Q♠6♠4♥ flop. Saka check-called for 400,000.

On the 9♦ turn, Saka check-called for another 775,000, which brought in the 3♥ river, giving Berisha the best hand.

Saka checked for a third time, and Berisha fired a third barrel of 800,000, beefing the pot up to 4,500,000. Saka went into the tank and ultimately, he couldn't get away from his pair of sixes and called to see the bad news.

Ermanno Di Nicola defended his big blind after Julien Loire opened to 500,000 from the cutoff.

The 9♥6♣4♠ flop checked through to the 4♥ turn. Di Nicola bet 325,000 and was called.

The 9♠ river doubled paired the board, which marked the second time that had happened in a hand between the duo today. Both players checked through to showdown.

Di Nicola had jack-high with his J♥5♥, while Loire took down the pot with king-high as he had K♥3♥. Had a third heart peeled off on the river, fireworks were bound to ignite.

Stranak Waves the White Flag

On the Q♠6♠6♦ flop, Stranak checked raised to 625,000 after Berisha continued for 250,000. The latter called. Berisha sealed the checkmark on the A♠ turn and called when Stranak fired out another 650,000.

The 9♠ river completed the board, and Berisha improved to a flush. Stranak gave up on his bluff and checked. Berisha did the same and took in the pot.
