Harald Schwinger raised to 40,000 under the gun, and he was called by Paul Craciunas and Recep Bulut in the big blind.
On the flop A♦9♠A♥, Schwinger continued with a bet of 55,000. Craciunas called, but Bulut folded at this point.
The J♠ came on the turn, but nobody bet. However, on the river 2♥, Craciunas threw 110,000 in front of him after Schwinger checked and was immediately called.
Craciunas showed trips with A♠K♣, beating Schwinger's K♥K♦.
Cornelis De Moree moved all in for 340,000 from middle position and Juuso Luokkanen called on the button.
Cornelis De Moree: 7♠7♥
Juuso Luokkanen: A♥Q♠
Luokkanen didn't wait long to take the lead, hitting top pair on the 3♥Q♦8♦ flop. The rest of the board came K♥8♣ and De Moree was left with no chips after the hand.
Tim Kraemer was also eliminated earlier at this table.
Heads-up on a board of 8♠4♦10♥3♥, Elia Salerno bet 155,000 from early position and Bardhyl Kokollari called in the big blind.
The river came the 7♠ and Salerno bet another 245,000. Kokollari, leaning over the back of his chair, had to move his two Dragonball Z characters he uses as card protectors out of the way to count out his remaining stack as he went into the tank.
Kokollari began shuffling his cards on the table before gathering up the chips to call and putting them in the middle. Salerno then showed A♠10♠ for top pair and Kokollari nodded his head and mucked.
Motokatsu Uhara opened to 40,000 from under the gun and called when Manuel Frank made it 125,000 from the cutoff.
Uhara check-called for 100,000 on the J♦7♥6♥ flop before the J♥ turn checked through to the 2♣ river. Uhara checked for a third time and Frank fired out 175,00. Uhara quickly called but mucked his cards when Frank tabled K♦K♣.
Vadzim Lipauka opened to 40,000 from the cutoff, and was called by Renji Mao who defended his big blind.
The dealer fanned a flop of 5♥9♦Q♠ that both players checked. Then on the turn J♠, they agreed on a bet of 35,000. The 8♠ completed the board, but there was no more action.
First player to reveal his cards, Mao showed 9♥8♦ for two pair. But Lipaula had Q♥Q♦ for a set and scooped the pot.
Andreas Paleologos opened to 30,000 from under the gun before Gianluca Cabitza three-bet to 105,000 from the hijack. The action folded to Deividas Butnoras in the big blind, who made it 265,000.
Paleologos paused for a few moments before moving all in. Cabitza showed clear frustration at the spot and appeared to make a reluctant fold. Butnoras was also not too thrilled but did call after around 30 seconds.
Andreas Paleologos: A♠A♣
Deividas Butnoras: K♦K♥
Cabitza's frustration soon turned into elation as he said he folded K♠K♣ as the cards were going on their backs.
Gianluca Cabitza
If Cabitza was being truthful, Butnoras was drawing extremely thin, but he did pick up outs to Broadway after the A♥Q♥J♠ flop. Any chances of a bad beat were quashed as Paleologos filled up on the J♣ turn. The 4♠ river completed the board.
With the pot, Paleologos has soared to the top end of the chip counts.
Guy Goosens opened to 30,000 from under the gun and was called by Manfred Mueller from the hijack. Saeed Rehman and Oleh Shkapenko also called from the blinds.
The Q♥2♥2♣ flop checked through to the Q♠ turn. Action checked to Goosens, who bet 20,000. Mueller called before Rehman folded. Shkapenko made it 65,000 and both Goosens and Mueller quickly folded.
