Basdeo Falls Short of the Money

Niveau 16 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Ramlal Basdeo
Ramlal Basdeo

Ramlal Basdeo moved all in from the button for 6,500 and was called by Yehuda Cohen in the small blind and Ruslan Volkov in the big blind.

The flop of 442 saw Cohen flick in a 5,000 chip and was quickly called by Volkov. The 2 double-paired the board and Cohen bet 5,000 again. Volkov opted to make a raise to 15,000 which got a snap fold from Cohen.

Ramlal Basdeo: A7
Ruslan Volkov: 42

A big blind special for Volkov who flopped a boat. Basdeo was drawing dead and the 7 completed the board as the Trinidadian headed to the exit.

Gehrmann Doesn't Fire the River

Niveau 16 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Dan Maricuta had checked the Q2243 river out of the small blind and that sent Michael Gehrmann on the button in the tank. There were around 80,000 in the middle and Gehrmann had fewer than that behind.

Eventually, Gehrmann checked and Maricuta tabled the QJ for queens and deuces. Gehrmann mucked and Maricuta mentioned "I would have called the shove" to which his opponent nodded.

Refael Dahan
Refael Dahan

All the chips went into the middle preflop with the under-the-gun Refael Dahan at risk for 105,500. He was up against Ramo Balic on the button who barely covered Dahan.

Refael Dahan: AA
Ramo Balic: KK

Balic was behind and let out a loud groan when he saw a bullet in the window on the AJ5 flop. Balic did gain flush outs on the 6 turn causing Dahan to pray for a red card. His wish wasn't granted, but thankfully for Dahan it was the 6 to secure the double up and left Balic with four big blinds.
