Karpov Puts Miniucchi to the Test
Niveau 16
: Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Marcello Minucchi bet 9,000 from under the gun and was called by Glib Karpov in the hijack and Zlatin Penev in the big blind.
The flop came 9♥6♦4♦ and Miniucchi bet 11,000. He was immediately met by a raise from Karpov to 27,000 which garnered a quick fold from Penev and Miniucchi took a minute before calling.
The J♣ came on the turn and Karpov bet 38,000 which put Miniucchi deep into the tank. After nearly three minutes the Italian opted to fold and Karpov dragged in a decent pot.
