Boatman Denied Double-Up in Cruel Fashion
Niveau 35
: Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante
Neither player had noticed that the blinds went up and Tobias Peters limped the small blind. Barny Boatman raised to 550,000 and then snap-called when Peters limp-shoved.
Barny Boatman: A♥A♠
Tobias Peters: K♥Q♦
"It's a good hand to make two pair," Peters told his friend on the rail.
The A♣8♣4♣ flop saw Peters change his mind, as he added "I need two clubs".
Sure enough, the 3♣ turn and 6♣ river brought a flush on the board for an unlikely split pot.
