Adams Makes an Early Mistake
Timothy Adams raised to 2,500 from the hijack and only Enzo Vito made the call, from the big blind. The flop of 4♠4♥9♥ saw Vito check to Adams, who continued for a bet of 2,000. Vito made the call and the 3♣ turn was dealt.
Vito now led for 4,000, and Adams threw in two T-5,000 chips. However, immediately after, he claimed to have just wanted to call. Vito was okay with Adams taking back the raise, and the floor was called over to make a ruling.
Eventually, it was ruled that Adams was allowed to make a call before the 10♠ river was checked by both players. Vito tabled A♣Q♦ for ace-high, but was bested by the pocket pair of Adams with 7♥7♣.
