Guilbert Bounces Back
Niveau 5
: Blinds 2,000/3,000, 3,000 ante
James Chen raised to 7,000 from middle position and Arturo Paduano made the call from the cutoff. Johan Guilbert then squeezed in a three-bet to 28,000 from the button, which only Paduano called.
The 5♣6♥8♣ flop was checked by both players and the 3♥ turn was knuckled down as well. The 10♣ river then saw Paduano lead out for 38,000 and Guilbert made a swift call.
Paduano could only show A♦3♦ for bottom pair, while Guilbert played A♥10♦ for top pair. By winning this pot, Guilbert increased his stack to above what he started with after a tough start of the day.
