Hallay Gets Paid
Niveau 15
: Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Nacho Barbero raised to 50,000 from middle position and the action folded to Axel Hallay, who defended the big blind. Hallay then check-called the 40,000 continuation-bet of Barbero on the J♣3♠5♣ flop before both players checked the J♥ turn.
The A♥ river appeared and Hallay opted to lead out for 130,000 chips. Barbero spent two time bank extensions before making the call, but mucked his cards once he saw the A♠10♠ of his opponent, who had rivered top pair.
