Shumeiko Overbets; Macesovic Makes a Hero Call

Calum Grant

Niveau 20 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Irena Macesovic opened to 20,000 from early position, and Yehor Shumeiko defended his big blind.

The flop and turn checked through to the river for the final board to show Q♥J♥4♦Q♣J♠.

Shumeiko toyed with his chips and bet 60,000 into a pot of 45,000. Macesovic thought about it briefly and called.

Shumeiko instantly mucked his hand and Macesovic tabled her K♦10♦ to show she had made a king-high hero call.
