Gore's Flush Outshines Martinsson's Straight
Niveau 5
: Blinds 300/500, 500 ante
With the pot sitting at about 33,000 and the board reading J♣6♥4♦7♣8♣, Alf Martinsson was the first to act and took his time weighing his options. After a few minutes of thought, he decided to bet around 50,000, effectively putting his opponent all in.
Sambhav Gore didn’t hesitate and quickly shoved his chips into the middle, jokingly asking, "How high are you?" while revealing 9♣5♣ for a flush. Martinsson showed 8♦5♦ for a turned straight but couldn’t match Gore's hand, meaning he had to forfeit the pot and miss out on the bounty.
