Valerio Marino Eliminated in 22nd Place (€1,790)
Niveau 23
: Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Valerio Marino started the action with a raise to 70,000, leaving himself with just 5,000 behind. In the small blind, Rostyslav Sabishchenko pushed all in, prompting Paulo Costa to call, and Marino shoved his last 5,000 into the mix as well.
Valerio Marino: K♦9♦
Paulo Costa: 3♦3♥
Rostyslav Sabishchenko: 10♦7♦
The flop came down 7♠9♠3♠, giving each player a pair, but Costa hit the jackpot with a set. The turn was 4♣, followed by the river 3♣, which didn’t improve Marino or Sabishchenko’s hands. Costa scooped up a hefty pot and claimed Marino’s bounty, sending him to the rail.
