Neagoe Avoids a Chop to Double
Niveau 27
: Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Cheng Zhao min-raised from the button and Darius Neagoe called from the big blind.
After Neagoe checked the A♣9♣A♦ flop, Zhau shoved for Neagoe's remaining 300,000. Neagoe thought about it briefly before making the call.
Darius Neagoe: J♥9♦
Cheng Zhao: 9♥4♥
If Neago could avoid a chop put he would win the pot. The 8♥ turn and 7♥ river meant Neagoe's jack-kicker would play and he doubled up.
