Powers Outmatched by Alimoradpour's Flush
Niveau 7
: Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Jacob Powers limped from early position, and Daniel Rezaei raised to 5,000, picking up calls from Corrado Martinelli on the button, Majid Alimoradpour in the big blind, and Powers himself.
The J♦9♦10♦ flop saw Alimoradpour take the lead with an 8,000 bet, which Powers called while the others folded.
Both players checked the 8♥ turn.
On the 6♥ river, Alimoradpour fired again, this time 13,000, and Power quickly called. Power revealed 8♦7♠ for a straight, but Alimoradpour had 6♦5♦, having flopped a flush to scoop the pot.
