Velvelt Gets Paid With His Straight
Niveau 30
: Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante
Urmo Velvelt raised to 600,000 on the button and Simone Andrian called.
The 9♠8♣7♠ flop checked through for the J♣ to come on the turn. Andrian checked, and Velvelt bet 600,000. Andrian called.
Andrian checked the K♥ river, to which Velvelt bet 850,000. Andrian thought it over for a while before making the call. Velvelt showed K♦10♥ for a straight and took down the pot as Andrian mucked a pair of jacks with Q♣J♠.
