Matissek Cracks Two Better Hands

Calum Grant

Niveau 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Dominik Heinzelmann jammed for 8,600 from under the gun and Daniel Matissek called as the bigger stack from the big blind.

Heinzelmann needed to hit as his 7♥6♥ was behind his opponent's A♠8♦.

Heinzelmann paired up on the Q♣6♠5♠ flop to take the lead and doubled up after the 9♥ turn and 4♥ river.

Two hands later, a three-way all-in transpired with Matissek looking to oust Heinzelmann along with Ralph Dittmar.

Ralph Dittmar: J♣J♠ All in
Dominik Heinzelmann: A♠A♦ All in
Daniel Matissek: 9♣9♦

Matissek went from the worst hand to the best after improving to a set on the 9♠6♣5♥ flop and secured the double bust out after the 2♠4♠ runout.
