Vidalis Leaves Grigas With Crumbs Heading to Dinner
Niveau 19
: Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Nebojsa Musulin raised to 20,000 in middle position and Gediminas Grigas called in the cutoff. Fragkiskos Vidalis then three-bet to 88,000 in the small blind and both opponents called.
The flop came K♣J♠5♠ and Vidalis moved all in for 132,000. Musulin quickly folded, but Grigas called.
Fragkiskos Vidalis: A♣K♠5♣2♠
Gediminas Grigas: K♦J♥9♦2♥
"Finally, I can go to dinner. It's a flip," Grigas said once the cards were revealed. He was ahead with kings and jacks against Vidalis' kings and fives, but the 3♠ turn gave Vidalis the nut flush. The river was the 10♥ and Vidalis doubled up, leaving Grigas on an extreme short stack.
