Anastasakis Rivers Marechal
Niveau 35
: Blinds 400,000/800,000, 800,000 ante
Frederic Marechal limped in from the small blind and called the subsequent raise to 2,300,000 from big blind Dimitrios Anastasakis.
Marechal checked to Anastasakis on the Q♠5♦6♥ flop, after which the latter continued for 1,500,000. Marechal made the call to the 6♠ turn, which went check-check.
The K♥ river came in, eliciting another check from Marechal. Anastasakis tossed in a near pot-sized bet of 7,500,000. Marechal spent some minutes in the tank but eventually found a call.
Anastasakis tabled K♠J♠ for a rivered top pair, while Marechal sighed as he tossed his Q♣J♦ in the muck in defeat.
