Campisano Takes Over
Niveau 38
: Blinds 800,000/1,600,000, 1,600,000 ante
Christopher Campisano raised to 3,200,000 on the button and Frederic Marechal called in the big blind. Campisano bet 2,500,000 on the J♣10♥6♦ flop only to be faced with an all-in check-raise from Marechal.
Campisano took a few moments before calling off his stack of 36,900,000 and the cards were tabled.
Frederic Marechal: J♦9♣
Christopher Campisano: Q♣9♥
The 4♦ turn and 2♣ river did not see Marechal's straight draw come in. Campisano doubled up with top pair, retaking the lead for the first time in a long time.
