Vrancsik Chops With Tsouloftas

Niveau 32 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Zoltan Vrancsik shoved preflop for 265,000 from middle position and Georgios Tsouloftas called in the small blind, as did Andrea Ricci in the big blind.

The flop came K28 where Tsouloftas bet 200,000, and Ricci folded his J9.

Georgios Tsouloftas: KJ

The runout of Q9 mean the two chopped up the pot, which meant Vrancsik effectively doubled up.

The third and final day in Event #5: €550 NLH Colossus plays out today at the 2024 World Series of Poker Europe (WSOPE) with 16 players all looking to get their hands on the bracelet and €171,350 first prize at King's Resort in Rozvadov.

Leading the charge for the title is Cyprus' Georgios Tsouloftas with a stack of 12,210,000 — good for 76 big blinds. Tsouloftas marched up the counts in the closing levels of Day 2 by eliminating three players, and will be looking to continue that momentum when play gets underway at 2 p.m..

William Trumm sits second with 10,370,000 chips after his majestic spin-up from less than two big blinds mid-way through Day 2, and the top two are well clear of Andrea Ricci, who rounds out the podium spots in third with a stack of 7,160,000.

Each of the remaining 16 players have secured a payday of at least €7,100 but a crucial mini bubble will instantly be on their minds as the top fourteen receive a €10,350 WSOPE Main Event ticket — which makes the difference in payouts between fifteenth and fourteenth is more than double.
