Van Hulst Hooks In a Double-Up
Niveau 34
: Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante
Andrea Ricci raised to 500,000 in middle positon. The short-stacked Erik van Hulst then jammed in for 1,270,000 in the cutoff. The action folded back to Ricci, who asked for a count and then called.
Erik van Hulst: J♦J♣
Andrea Ricci: Q♦10♠
The 9♦10♦J♥ flop gave Van Hulst top set and Ricci a straight draw. The 6♦ turn also brought a flush draw for Ricci, but he bricked both on the 5♥ river as Van Hulst doubled up.
