Dota, Minkov Take Turns Doubling
Victor Dota raised to 280,000 in the cutoff and Nikola Minkov called in the big blind. "Let's see a flop," Minkov said as they saw the board come K♣Q♥6♣. Dota then moved all in for 650,000. "That's a good flop for my hand," Minkov said as he called.
Victor Dota: A♠K♥Q♠J♠
Nikola Minkov: A♣10♦7♣6♠
"You don't want to hit your jack," Jonas Kronwitter told Dota who was ahead with top two pair. The rest of the board came 2♠7♥ and Dota doubled up.
"You're hard to kill," Kronwitter added after the hand.
The next hand, Dennis Weiss raised to 280,000, Minkov shoved for 435,000, and Weiss called.
Nikola Minkov: Q♠Q♣10♦8♦
Dennis Weiss: J♥J♦10♥8♥
"I really don't want to see that hand," Weiss said when Minkov turned over his queens. Minkov hit a set on the K♦10♣Q♥ flop, while the 7♣ turn and 6♣ river sealed his double up.
