Snejberg's Winning Streak Against Zhao

Niveau 17 : Blinds 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Josef Snejberg and Cheng Zhao were clearly enjoying their back-and-forth battle at the table. In the very first hand, Snejberg bet 50,000 into a pot of 52,000 on the river, forcing Zhao to fold and handing him the pot without much fuss.

Just a couple of hands later, Snejberg opened the action again with a raise to 10,000. This time, he got calls from both Zhao in the small blind and the big blind.

When the flop came down 24J, Snejberg wasted no time, firing off a bet of 11,000 after both blinds checked. Zhao responded with a raise to 30,000, which made the big blind fold, but Snejberg wasn't backing down and made the call.

The turn brought the 6, and Zhao took the lead with a solid bet of 40,000. Snejberg called again, clearly feeling confident.

On the river, the Q appeared, and Zhao made a smaller bet of 10,000. But Snejberg wasn't going anywhere—he called again, showing 97 for a flopped flush. Zhao, on the other hand, could only muster KJx for a pair of jacks, leaving him to watch as Snejberg scooped up the pot again.
