Peluso Puts Jobin to the Test
Niveau 21
: 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Fabio Peluso started the action with a raise to 25,000 from under the gun, and Yannick Jobin called from the button.
The 8♠8♦7♥ flop and the 7♦ turn didn’t spark any bets, as both players checked. But when the K♦ landed on the river, things took a turn.
Peluso checked to Jobin, who bet 65,000. In response, Peluso shoved all-in for 170,000. After thinking it over, Jobin called. Peluso flipped over A♣A♥ for aces and eights, while Jobin showed K♥J♠ for kings and eights. Peluso scooped the sizable pot, leaving Jobin on the wrong side of the showdown.
