Foxen Continues to Widen the Gap
Alessandro Pichierri J♣10♠ opened to 200,000 first to act and was called by Alex Foxen K♠J♠ from the cutoff. Leon Tsoukernik 10♥9♠ defended his big blind.
Pichierri continued for 280,000 on the 5♠2♠2♥ flop, and Foxen called with his flush draw ahead of Tsoukernik folding. The J♥ turn connected with both remaining players, and action checked through to the K♣ river, which gave Foxen kings and jacks.
Pichierri bet 450,000 with the second-best hand. Foxen used a time bank while he weighed up his options. The American bumped it up to 2,220,000, and Pichierri opted to preserve the 1,800,000 he had behind and folded.
