Alex Livingston

Vanessa Kade opened to 80,000 from the cutoff and Michael Stembera flat-called on the button, and Alex Livingston came along from the big blind.

Livingston checked dark on the flop of {5-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} and Kade also checked, while Stembera fired a bet of 110,000. Livingston check-raised to 425,000 and only Stembera called.

The turn brought the {k-Spades} and Livingston bet 625,000, which got a quick fold from Stembera to send yet another pot in Livingston's direction.

"You guys player poker over here?" Sean Perry asked as he eyed Livingston's growing stack from the other table. "Holy shit! You ARE playing poker."

Lee Doubles Through Moran

Niveau 23 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Neng Lee ended up getting his 660,000 chips in preflop from the cutoff and was at risk against Dan "The Man" Moran in the big blind.

Neng Lee: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}
Daniel Moran: {a-Spades}{10-Spades}

The board ran out {j-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{8-Clubs}{j-Hearts} and although the turn provided an opened-ended draw for Moran, the river blanked to secure the double for Lee.

Shankar Pillai Eliminated in 16th Place ($94,272); Debbie Lee Eliminated in 15th Place ($108,602)

Niveau 23 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Shankar Pillai
Shankar Pillai

Debbie Lee opened to 80,000 in early position and Alex Livingston three-bet from the cutoff. Shankar Pillai in the big blind then four-bet shoved a stack of around 560,000 and Lee five-bet jammed for about 2,045,000. Livingston called with both players covered.

Shankar Pillai: {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}
Debbie Lee: {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}
Alex Livingston: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}

Livingston's aces were still ahead after the flop of {6-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{2-Hearts} and the {6-Spades}{5-Clubs} runout didn't change things to send two players out in one of the first hands of the day.

Pillai had the shorter stack and therefore finished in 16th place for $94,272, while Lee earned a 15th-place finish and a pay jump to $108,602.
