Kade Wins Pot Off Loosli

Niveau 24 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Vanessa Kade
Vanessa Kade

Sylvain Loosli opened to 100,000 in early position and Vanessa Kade flat-called on the button, while Thomas Boivin also came along from the big blind.

Boivin and Loosli both checked on the flop of {j-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} and Kade took a stab with a bet of 175,000. Only Loosli called.

Loosli checked again on the {5-Spades} turn and Kade sized up to 450,000. Loosli tanked for a minute or so and then mucked.

Kempton Shoves on Shen

Niveau 24 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

With roughly 700,000 in the pot on a {5-Clubs}{4-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} completed board, Roland Shen bet 350,000 in the big blind, and Isaac Kempton shoved in the cutoff.

Shen went into the tank for a couple of minutes but ultimately laid down his hand to concede the pot to Kempton.

Boivin Doubles Through Deeb, Then Deeb Doubles Through Loosli

Niveau 24 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Shaun Deeb
Shaun Deeb

Michael Stembera opened to 105,000 in the cutoff and Thomas Boivin moved all-in from the button for 700,000. Shaun Deeb then re-shoved a slightly bigger stack from the big blind and Stembera folded.

Thomas Boivin: {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}
Shaun Deeb: {7-Hearts}{7-Spades}

Boivin was at risk but had Deeb pipped and maintained the best hand for a double-up as the board ran out {q-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{3-Spades} to leave Deeb with crumbs.

The very next hand, Deeb got all-in from the small blind for about 250,000 and Sylvain Loosli called.

Shaun Deeb: {q-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}
Sylvain Loosli: {9-Clubs}{8-Spades}

The flop came {10-Hearts}{j-Spades}{9-Spades} to give Loosli the lead with a pair of nines, though Deeb had a straight draw. The {2-Hearts} on the turn didn't change things but the {8-Hearts} on the river gave Deeb the straight to keep him alive.

Daniel Moran
Daniel Moran

Sean Perry opened to 100,000 from middle position, Dan "The Man" Moran called the cutoff, and Tony Tran three-bet to 370,000 on the button. Perry folded and Moran called.

The dealer spread the {q-Spades}{10-Hearts}{5-Clubs} flop and Moran checked. Tran bet 350,000 and Moran thought about it before moving all in for 835,000. Tran snap-called.

Daniel Moran: {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
Tony Tran: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}

The {5-Diamonds} and {q-Diamonds} completed the board to keep Tran in front, ending Moran's deep run in 14th place, good for $108,602.

Neng Lee opened to 110,000 in the cutoff and Tony Tran defended out of the big blind.

"Alright, let me give you some chips," Tran said as he made the call.

Tran checked on the flop of {10-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} and Lee checked back. Tran checked again on the {q-Diamonds} turn and Lee bet 150,000.

Tran snap-raised to 500,000 and Lee tanked for about a minute before folding.

"Very good fold, sir," Tran said without revealing his hand.

Ian Matakis Eliminated in 13th Place ($125,326)

Niveau 24 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Ian Matakis
Ian Matakis

Ian Matakis opened to 125,000 on the button and Vanessa Kade three-bet to 425,000 in the small blind. The big blind folded and Matakis called.

The dealer spread the {k-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{4-Spades} flop and Kade led for 375,000. Matakis called.

The {8-Clubs} fell on the turn and Kade led for 1,000,000. Matakis called again.

The {5-Clubs} completed the board and Kade announced she was all-in. Matakis thought about it, and ultimately moved chips over the line to signify a call.

Kade turned over {a-Spades}{6-Spades} for a rivered straight to claim the massive pot over the {k-Spades}{q-Spades} of Matakis.

A count confirmed Kade had Matakis' 2,630,000 chips slightly covered, and Matakis was eliminated in 13th place for $125,326.

Shaun Deeb Eliminated in 12th Place ($125,326); Sylvain Loosli Eliminated in 11th Place ($145,755)

Niveau 24 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Shaun Deeb
Shaun Deeb

Shaun Deeb was under the gun and opened to around 400,000 with just 10,000 behind. Sylvain Loosli re-shoved a stack of around 1,300,000 as the player next to act.

The action folded to Alex Livingston in the big blind, who called with both players covered. Deeb also called with his last 10,000.

Shaun Deeb: {a-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}
Sylvain Loosli: {8-Hearts}{8-Spades}
Alex Livingston: {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts}

The flop of {j-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{6-Spades} left Livingston ahead with nines, and the board finished out {q-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} to score him another double-knockout today and send Deeb and Loosli to the rail.

Deeb had the smaller stack and took the 12th place finish for $125,326, while Loosli took 11th and earned a pay jump to $145,755.
