Lichtenberger Hits the Rail

Niveau 20 : 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Andrew Lichtenberger
Andrew Lichtenberger

Harrison Ashdown raised to 30,000 from under the gun and a player on the button called before Andrew Lichtenberger called from the big blind.

The flop was {8-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} and Lichtenberger checked. Ashdown bet 35,000 and Lichtenberger raised to 80,000. Without much hesitation, Ashdown shoved with the most chips and Lichtenberger quickly called.

Andrew Lichtenberger: {4-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}
Harrison Ashdown: {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

The turn was {8-Hearts} and the river {a-Spades}, with no help for Lichtenberger as he gathered his things and headed for the rail.

Big Stacked Stout Chasing First Career Mega Score

Niveau 20 : 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Brittney Stout
Brittney Stout

Brittney Stout has been crushing the competition during the first two days of the Wynn Mystery Bounty tournament. She's already spent much of Day 2's early going with the chip lead and had reached as much as 1.8 million chips.

Not only is she playing exceptionally well, but she even won a crucial race with a pair of 10's against her opponent's A-K to ship a big pot early on Day 2.

Stout, the wife of poker pro Matt Stout, has $70,000 in live tournament cashes. Her largest score entering the current event at Wynn was $27,544 for 8th place in a 2019 WPT DeepStack Kickoff No-Limit Hold'em tournament in Atlantic City.

If the cards continue falling her way on Sunday, she could more than double her lifetime cashes. Matt Stout has been busy tweeting out Brittney's chip count updates.

Action was caught on the river when Nadya Magnus, the 2021 GPI Female Player of the Year, was all-in for 197,000 on a board of {3-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{9-Hearts}.

Her opponent, who didn't expose his cards, made the call and she turned over {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs} for the winning flush, and is now back up above the stack she began Day 2 with.

Moments earlier, Magnus drew a $5,000 Mystery Bounty.

Thai Vu raised pre-flop and Brittney Stout jammed with the big stack. The rest of the table got out of the way and Vu called.

Thai Vu: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}
Brittney Stout: {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}

The board ran out {9-Spades}{6-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{4-Hearts} and Stout turned a set of tens to secure the big pot.

Despite the knockout, Stout is waiting to make her trip to the bounty desk until her poker pro husband, Matt, arrives.

"According to Matt, I'm not allowed to pull any bounties until he gets here."

Stay tuned for Stout's trip to the drum.

Hung Tran Pulls First $100K Mystery Bounty on Bonus Redraw

Niveau 19 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Hung Tran busted from the Wynn Mystery Bounty event and then went to draw for a mystery prize he earned for busting a player earlier in the day. He initially drew a $500 card, the minimum bounty, but the card indicated he earned a redraw. In that redraw, he pulled the first of three $100,000 bounties and will go home with a six-figure payday, lessening the disappointment of being eliminated from the tournament.
