Andrew "Lucky Chewy" Lichtenberger One of the Best Ever
Andrew Lichtenberger is one of the top poker players in the world, and he reached Day 2 of the Wynn Millions Mystery Bounty on Sunday.
Known as “Lucky Chewy” from his online poker prowess, the long-time poker star has nearly $12 million in live tournament cashes according to the Hendon Mob. He's a World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet winner, having shipped a $3,000 no-limit hold'em event in 2016. In December 2021, he took down a $25,000 high roller at the Bellagio Five Diamond World Poker Classic for $432,000.
Lichtenberger is one of the many great players in their mid-30's, which will make it difficult for the voters in about five years to determine who will be the selection each year for the Poker Hall of Fame. The New York native will reach eligibility (age 40) in 2024, and it's going to be tough to keep him off the ballot.
"Lucky Chewy" has been a consistent performer in tournaments and online for many years. Since 2014, he's cracked the $1 million cashes mark in live events five times and is well on his way in 2022. He became a poker pro in 2009 and has never looked back.
He's certainly among the favorites to reach the final table here on Day 2 in the Wynn Millions Mystery Bounty event.
