Le joueur italien s'est imposé sur No-Limit Hold'em 8-Max High Roller à 21000$ l'entrée des PokerStars Spring Championship Of Online Poker (SCOOP 2016). Malgré son buy-in costaud, le tournoi a cumulé 143 entrants pour un prizepool final de 2 931 500$. Vainqueur, Dario "Secret_M0d3" Sammartino encaisse 718 217,50$ !.
Sammartino s'est joué d'Henrik "hhecklen" Hecklen à l'issue d'un heads up terminé sans deal. Son dauphin encaisse 498 355$ !
