Addamo Bluffs Off a Chunk

Niveau 6 : 250/500, 75 ante

Michael Addamo and an opponent on his right were in middle position and built a pot of 11,000. They checked the turn to a completed board of {9-Spades}{k-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{q-Spades}{j-Diamonds}. Addamo saw a check in front and tanked awhile before betting 9,000. His opponent took his own thinking time and tossed in a call.

Addamo tabled {7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for an airball and saw he'd been called thin: {9-Clubs}{8-Hearts}.

Kuo Crushes Schulze to Build Big Stack

Niveau 6 : 250/500, 75 ante
Felix Schulze
Felix Schulze

"Sorry I crashed out against Kitty," Felix Schulze said when heading past the media desk and provided further information. According to Schulze, he raised to 1,200 from under the gun and picked up one caller before Kitty Kuo in the hijack made it 5,000 to go. Both called to see a flop of {Q-}{9-}{7-} with two clubs and Schulze was the only one to check-call a bet of 8,000 by Kuo.

On the {5-} turn, Schulze checked and called another hefty bet of 25,000 "with the plan to call it off when no club comes on the river." Indeed it was a blank {10-} and Schulze check-called all in with {K-Spades}{K-Diamonds} only to find himself up against the pocket queens for top set by Kuo. A quick look at his former table confirmed that story as Kuo was sitting behind a massive stack indeed, and another player at the table remarked "you just missed a big pot, kings versus queens."

Also new on that very same table: Dennis Huntly, who has an above-average stack.

Big Stacks; Bustouts and More

Niveau 6 : 250/500, 75 ante

Artur Koren's stack skyrocketed to the top of the leader board while former big stack Jan Suchanek struggles with less than the starting stack. Other new big stacks include Ludovic Geilich, Scott Margereson and Victor Teng.

Koren would have had even more chips if his {A-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} had dealt the final blow to a short stack for 13,400, but the player at risk held up with {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} thanks to a board of {10-Spades}{3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{7-Hearts}.

Jacobson Bet-Folds in a Flash

Niveau 6 : 250/500, 75 ante

Martin Jacobson was in the big blind and checked a {6-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{q-Spades} flop and his middle-position opponent checked back. Jacobson bet 4,000, about twice the pot, on the {5-Diamonds} turn, and he got action. He bet big again on the {9-Diamonds} river with 14,000 but faced an all-in shove moments later. The former world champ instantly released.

Treccarichi Loses a Bunch

Niveau 6 : 250/500, 75 ante

The dealer announced all in and a call at the table of Walter Treccarichi and a quick look revealed the turn of a board {Q-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{5-Clubs} with the Italian in the showdown, having an opponent at risk for 16,475 with {5-Spades}{3-Clubs} for turned two pair. Unfortunately, Treccarichi only had two outs as his opponent held the {3-Spades}{3-Diamonds} for a set, and the {6-Diamonds} on the river was of no help to cut down his stack considerably.

Reichard Loses a Big Chunk

Niveau 6 : 250/500, 75 ante

We found Josh Reichard facing an all-in shove worth about 25,000 with {8-Spades}{2-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} on the felt. He put in the calling chips and saw he was facing the flopped nuts in {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}. Reichard had outs with {a-Spades}{q-Spades} but the {q-Hearts} river was not enough improvement to overtake the set.

Salter Takes One Out

Niveau 6 : 250/500, 75 ante

While Louis Salter may not have as much of a poker resume as his big brother Jack yet, the young Brit slowly but surely makes a name for himself and has already cashed for more than $1.1 million on the live circuit. Jack made it through to Day 2 with 68,300 on yesterday's second flight and Louis is on the best way to top that tonight.

After three-betting preflop, Salter called the shove of his table neighbour on the {9-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} flop for more than 16,000 and was shown the {3-Hearts}{3-Spades}. Salter had that dominated by far with the {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs} and the board completed with the blank {5-Clubs} turn and {9-Diamonds} river.
