Lim Pressures Ohyama

Niveau 4 : 150/300, 25 ante

The action folded around to Akira Ohyama in the small blind who completed the call. Chin Wei Lim was in the big blind and raised to 1,300. Ohyama called.

Both players checked the {a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{7-Hearts} flop before the {5-Clubs} dropped on the turn.

Ohyama thought for a minute before opting to check. Lim reached for his chips and placed out 4,000. Ohyama mucked shortly after.

Chong Eliminated by Tang

Niveau 4 : 150/300, 25 ante

On a completed board of {Q-Hearts}{J-Spades}{7-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}, Victor Chong in the small blind bet 2,500 with around 10,000 behind and Jia Tang moved all in from the hijack with the far superior stack.

Chong gave it plenty of consideration but couldn't find the fold. One player immediately put Tang on queens and that's what he rolled over with {Q-Spades}{Q-Clubs}. Chong mucked {A-Hearts}{J-Clubs} for trips jacks and headed out of the tournament area.

Razavi The Aggressor

Niveau 4 : 150/300, 25 ante

The player under the gun called as did Sam Razavi in middle position before the player in the small blind raised it up to 1,800. Kristen Bicknell called from the big blind. The under the gun player followed and Razavi came along too.

The flop fell {q-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{j-Spades} and the action checked around to Razavi who tossed out 3,250. The small blind peeped at his cards before mucking his hand. Bicknell didn't seem overly pleased but followed shortly after. The player under the gun mucked as well and Razavi was awarded the pot.

Westmorland Takes One Out

Niveau 4 : 150/300, 25 ante

The flop read {q-Hearts}{9-Spades}{10-Hearts} and the player in the small blind checked, followed by Koray Aldemir in the big blind, Jordan Westmorland under the gun and Shane Warne in middle position. The player in the cutoff then moved all in for 9,750. The small blind folded as did Aldemir. Westmorland thought for a moment and called. Warne deliberated for a minute before agonisingly folding his hand.

"Kings?" asked the cutoff player to Westmorland, before turning over {q-Clubs}{j-Hearts} for top pair.

Westmorland nodded and tabled {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs} for the over pair and the lead.

The board then ran out the {5-Spades} and {a-Clubs} to see Westmorland hold with the higher pair resulting in his opponent hitting the rail.

Jiang Sends Hulme to the Rail

Niveau 4 : 150/300, 25 ante
Sosia Jiang in the A$ 50,000 Challenge
Sosia Jiang in the A$ 50,000 Challenge

Picking up the action on the {Q-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} flop, Sosia Jiang in the under-the-gun position made it 1,600 to go and Andrew Hulme raised to 4,700. Jiang eyed the stack of her opponent and Hulme replied "I started the hand with 21,000", after which Jiang moved all in and received an instant call by Hulme.

Andrew Hulme: {Q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
Sosia Jiang: {A-Clubs}{Q-Spades}

The {A-Spades} turn instantly improved Jiang, leaving Hulme with just two outs, and the {J-Spades} river was a blank.

"Do you have more than me?" Hulme asked and Jiang nodded. By then, Joshua Abady returned to the table and added to the chatter. "Bet, raise and shove? Did it get in after the flop or turn?" he asked, then suggested some Kiwi-related headlines for the outcome of the hand.

Third Break on Day 1c

Niveau 3 : 100/200, 25 ante

Three 90-minute levels are completed and the 326 players out of a field of 351 entries have been sent into yet another 15-minute break. After the completion of the fourth level, a 75-minute dinner break awaits.

Westmorland Doubles

Niveau 3 : 100/200, 25 ante

On the three-way flop of {K-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}, Jordan Westmorland jammed over the top of a bet by Shane Warne and a cold-call. Warne let go and the third player in the hand eventually called.

Westmorland turned over {10-Clubs}{9-Hearts} for the straight to the king and faced {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}. The mandatory sweat came with the {5-Diamonds} turn, but the {8-Clubs} river blanked to let Westmorland double for 8,250.

Moments later, Connor Drinan also doubled and remains shy of the starting stack just like Westmorland.

Yoon Scores Another Bustout

Niveau 3 : 100/200, 25 ante

After his massive knockout not long ago, Jongwon Yoon has just proceeded to send another opponent to the rail and moved up to four times the starting stack at the end of level three.

With the completed board showing {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{K-Clubs}, one player had bet 7,300 into 18,000 and Yoon jammed from one seat over for effectively 18,000. What followed was a tank for several minutes and Kahle Burns then said "it has been seven minutes, I give you one more minute and gonna call the clock."

The clock would not be called as the all in call followed sooner than that and Yoon rolled over {10-Spades}{9-Spades} for the full house, his opponent mucked {A-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} face up.
