Thomas Tank-Folds Against Cohen

Niveau 3 : 100/200, 25 ante

Joel Cohen opened to 500 and got one caller before Russell Thomas three-bet to 2,400 from the small blind. Cohen four-bet to 5,500 and Thomas was the only caller.

The flop {3-Spades}{j-Spades}{10-Spades} was checked by both players and the turn brought the {9-Diamonds}. Thomas check-called 4,500 and the river was the {3-Hearts}.

Thomas checked again and Cohen bet 20,000. Thomas spent a long time in the tank, hovering between flicking a chip in to call and folding. Eventually, he folded.

"You could have interviewed me," Cohen said to Thomas. "I would have given you all the answers."

Swannack Jams Into Sun

Niveau 3 : 100/200, 25 ante

In the final hand of the previous level, Cole Swannack battled with David Sun and they went several minutes into the break. The board showed {J-Spades}{8-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{6-Clubs} and Swannack check-shoved when facing a bet of 4,100 by Sun in the cutoff. Sun asked for the chips to be pulled in, and it was another 23,950 to call.

Sun eventually folded when the clock was about to be called on him and Swannack claimed the pot. Further notables from the very same table can be found below.

Yan and Maini Lose Some

Niveau 2 : 100/200, 0 ante

On the heads-up flop of {9-Spades}{7-Hearts}{2-Spades}, Vishal Maini in the cutoff bet 500 when the action checked to him and the small blind came along to the {9-Hearts} turn, which both players checked. On the {K-Clubs} river, no betting action followed and Maini mucked when he was shown {6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}.

David Yan was also involved in the last hand of the level one table over and bet the {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{K-Diamonds} turn for 6,200 in the hijack. The cutoff called and Yan check-folded the {3-Clubs} river to a big bet, dropping to half the starting stack as a result.
