AU$10,600 Main Event
Jour 1c a débuté
The third and final starting day of the 2019 Aussie Millions A$ 10,600 Main Event kicks off at 12.30 p.m. local time in the biggest casino complex of the Southern hemisphere and a very busy day at the tables of the Crown Casino poker room is expected. One year ago, the event created a record-attendance of 800 entries after the efforts of an extensive satellite schedule paid off and a new record may very well be set.
On Day 1a and 1b respectively, 165 and 268 players entered the tournament to create a field of 433 entries and 214 hopefuls have already punched their ticket for Day 2 on Wednesday, January 30th, 2019. For all those that busted, there is no opportunity to take another shot at the title in Australia's most important poker event of the year, as the Aussie Millions remains one of the few major events on the international poker circuit to remain as a freezeout.

With Australian cricketing legend Shane Warne administering the traditional Day 1c 'Shuffle Up and Deal' the cards are now in the air with over 200 players already registered.
Joshua Abady came close to winning an Aussie Millions ring and finished 3rd in the A$ 1,150 Accumulator Event #8 for A$ 70,280 and he witnessed an early four-bet by his table neighbors Andrew Hulme and Yiannis Liperis. An open raise to 300 resulted in the three-bet to 1,100 by Hulme in the cutoff.
Liperis in the small blind made it 3,500 to go, forcing out the initial raiser. Hulme called and the flop came . Liperis continued for 2,500 and claimed the pot right there.

Table seven features several notables including Bruno Portaro, 2018 Aussie Millions runner-up Stefan Huber, Dara O'Kearney and Corey Kempson and Portaro apparently convinced his table mates to straddle early on to create some action.
Plenty of other notables have taken a seat early on such as 2018 finalist Mike Del Vecchio, James Romero, Bas de Laat and more.

A bigger pot emerged early on between Didier Guerin and Aram Zobian, and they both ended up checking the river. Zobian showed for a busted flush draw and pair of queens, while Guerin, who had checked first, flipped over for the nut straight.
"It is that easy, huh? Nice check," another player at the table remarked.
Tsugunari Toma has also started well into Day 1c. He check-called a bet of 900 on the flop and they checked the turn. Toma bet the river for 2,000 and was called to reveal as winning hand.
