In the pot where Michael Addamo busted, the board read 
on the river. About 40,000 was in the side pot and Michael Zhang checked in the hijack. Kahle Burns bet 33,000 and Zhang called but couldn't beat 
for a backdoor flush.
Michael Addamo was once again seen in a sizeable pot, with the action caught on the river of the 
board where Addamo fired 84,000. Aaron van Blarcum tank-called and his 
was good against Addamo' bluff. Addamo was left with crumbles and he would be eliminated on the next hand.
Seth Davies (small blind) and Orpen Kisacikoglu (hijack) tangled in a hand which saw the pot rise to 40,500 preflop. Davies bet 16,000 on 
and Kisacikoglu called. Davies continued barrelling on the 
turn, making it 60,000. Kisacikoglu let his hand go.
On a board of 
, Timothy Adams bet 30,500 from the big blind, which looked to be roughly the size of the pot. Seth Davies piled in just under 200,000 from the cutoff, and Adams waited until he had one second left then slid in his cards.
Elio Fox put in a continuation-bet of 2,500 from second position on 
, and Tsugunari Toma called from the button. The turn brought a 
and Fox slowed down, check-calling 7,000. On the 
river Fox checked and Toma bet 17,000. Fox woke up with a raise to 76,000, but Toma was undeterred. He splashed in 200,000 in response. Fox used a time extension then folded.
George Wolff raised to 2,500 on his button and Michael Addamo reraised to 12,500 from the small blind. Wolff flatted and they saw a 
flop. Addamo bet 4,000 and Wolff called. They checked the 
turn and Addamo went for thin value, betting 9,000 on the river. Wolff called right away and Addamo flipped 
for the best hand. Wolff flashed 
, showing that the board texture prevented him from a bigger loss.
Tsugunari Toma and Sam Greenwood saw the 
flop where Toma wagered 4,000 from the small blind. Greenwood called on his left and the landed on the turn. Toma bet 7,500 and Greenwood gave up.
Meanwhile, Stephen Chidwick joined them at the table, having re-entered.

In what seemed to be a preflop three-bet pot, Michael Addamo bet 10,000 from the small blind on 
and Kahle Burns called in the cutoff. The turn came and Addamo opted to fire a huge 65,000-bet. Burns paused and then called. Addamo tapped the felt when the 
landed and Burns quickly checked back. Addamo showed

If it wasn't the first hand, it was certainly one of the first hands, and it was a quick A$100K for British superstar Stephen Chidwick.
Three players saw an 
flop and action checked to Seth Davies, who bet 6,000 from the button. Alex Foxen made it 19,500 in the small blind and Chidwick cold-called in the big. Davies made it three to the , which checked around. The river was an and Foxen used a time extension then bet 70,000. Chidwick responded with an all-in shove. Davies thought briefly then got out of the way.
Foxen went deep into the tank, using all of his time extensions and muttering to himself. Finally, he slammed in some chips and Chidwick rolled over . Foxen showed for a turned flush and took it down while Chidwick headed to the rail.
