Bertoncini Scoops with Queens; Dennis and Payne Exit
Niveau 9
: Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
After a preflop betting bonanza, all the chips between Cicely Payne, Andrew Dennis, and Alex Bertoncinci got their chips into the middle, with Payne covering.
Andrew Dennis: 8♥8♣
Alex Bertoncinci: Q♣Q♦
Cicely Payne: 7♠8♠
Bertoncini was in a great spot to nearly triple up, and the runout of A♦4♥5♥9♦3♥ was clean for his queens to scoop the pot, eliminating Dennis in the process.
Left short, Payne exited shortly after.
